COURSES OFFERED:

1) Two-year MBA (International Business)

Eligibility:


1. Recognized Bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years’ duration in any discipline.
2. Candidates appearing for a qualifying examination can also apply subject to submission of proof of requisite qualification by October 7, 2010.
3. No age limit.

Mode of Admission :

For General/SC/ST/PH/OBC category :

*On the basis of Written Test, Group Discussion and Interview.
*Based on marks for written test, candidates will be called for Group Discussion and Interview to be held during January/February at Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow and Mumbai.

For Foreign/NRI/Children of NRI :

*On the basis of General Management Aptitude Test (GMAT).
*GMAT result should not have been declared before January 1, 2008 and should be received by the Institute latest by March 31st, 2010 Pattern of Admission Test

*The admission test is a multiple choice objective type written test (in English).
*Duration of the test is two hours and will cover English Comprehension, General Knowledge & Awareness, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Analysis.



2) MBA- INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS ( PART-TIME )


With the introduction of a three-year Part Time MBA (International Business) during 2000-01, IIFT added a new dimension to its role in the field of professional education by making available to working executives the Institute’s well established MBA (IB) programme in the evening. This programme is a replica of the day programme, both in terms of entry procedures and course contents. The programme runs over nine trimesters spread over three years. The classes will be held on weekends. (Saturdays – 3.00 pm to 7.30 pm, Sunday – 9.00 am to 6.00 pm.)

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree from any recognized University or Institution with three-year work experience (after graduation) in managerial cadre as on 30th June of the year of the start of the Course.
• No age limit

3) Executive Post Graduate Diploma in International Business (EPGDIB)



ON CAMPUS (DURATION: ONE AND A HALF YEAR)


The Programme is to be completed in three semesters of five month each. The concentrated classroom studies will commence with a week-long programme at the beginning of each semester followed by classes on Saturday and Sunday on alternate weeks. Student is awarded the Post Graduate Diploma on Successful completion of evaluation process.

Eligibility

Admission is open to working executives and self-employed individuals fulfilling the following criteria: (i) Post Graduate Degree/Engineering Degree OR equivalent from any recognized University or Institution. Managerial work experience of not less than THREE years. OR (ii) Graduation or equivalent degree form any recognized University or Institution. Managerial work experience of not less than FIVE years.

• Only the work experience after eligibility qualifications as on 31st August of the year when the programme is advertised is considered.
• Company sponsorship or No Objection Certificate from the employer is required.
• No Age limit.

Selection & Fee (subjects to changes )

Selection will be on the basis of GD, Essay Writing and Interview. Rs. 1,75,000/- payable in three installments + Rs. 2,000/- alumni fee.

4) EXECUTIVE POST GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN INDUSTRIAL MARKETING (EPGDIM)

Executive Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Marketing aims at enhancing the managerial competence and prepares the participants for Industrial Marketing or marketing of goods and services from one business to another. With an increasingly challenging business environment, organizations are under pressure to perform. The sales and marketing function is probably the most affected under the current economic scenario.

The Programme on Industrial Marketing provides in-depth case studies geared to the needs of marketing managers and other executives. Typically, companies generate higher sales volume from industrial sales than from consumer sales. Therefore, it is imperative for them to develop and follow effective marketing strategies to serve their industrial customers effectively.

Eligibility

Graduation or equivalent degree form any recognized University or Institution. Candidates with relevant work experience will be given preference.

Mode of Admission


• Selection will be on the basis of Interviews
• Seats are reserved for SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates as per Government of India rules

Tuition Fee (2009 Batch)

The Programme fee for the entire course is Rs.2,00,000/- to be paid in the following installments:

• 1st Installment : Rs.80,000/-
• 2nd Installment : Rs.60,000/-
