placement wing of IFIM embarked on a new process christened as POWER
WEEK (2 ! "# $ctober%#&), which was a prelude to the placement season.
Power Week : ' power packed special window was designed to invite
companies and spotlight the cream students for a high end package of ()ed

IFIM has a consistent record of e)cellent placements. 20#"/#1 saw an
accelerated uptrend. ,he overall placement cycle of 20#"/#1 saw greater
number of opportunities generated per student across di2erent
speciali.ations spread across pro(les, salaries and geographies. 67 8 of the
total 3ob o2ers came from the -F4I sector followed by 2#5 in Manufacturing,
I, and ,elecom, followed by "#5 from other sectors like media, FM67, 89
6onsulting, 9eal Estate etc. ,he sustained faith & +uality of students
nurtured by IFIM, made some of the past recruiters to bank on us along with
few new corporate to participate in the placement drive.
$ne of the prominent & enriching features during this cycle was the visit of
$tate )ank o5 #n2!a :the oldest and the largest ;ational -ank A II> has been awarded consistently by various bodies such as
Indian Management 6onclave, 'ssocham and others for being one of the
best industry academia interfaces to progress e)periential learning. ,he II> is
planned during last term of the >7?M program and it is mandatory for the
entire batch of students. ,his program encourages the students for a
continuous engagement with a company for 65 mont(s. ,he students work
as interns in the company full time and their performance is assessed 3ointly
by both the company and the faculty mentor assigned from the institute. ,he
interns can be assigned to any oBce of the company during this internship.
,he II> carries 20 credits in the overall scheme of the curriculum which works
out to be 205 of the total credits re+uired by the students to complete the
program.
