Ideal strategy for promoting a product to women

There are many products that are only advertised to women...
what do you think is the ideal strategy for promoting a product to women..

Is it by emotional appealing
or making the advertisement look glamorous
or assuring the product to be safe and useful
or just using a muscular man for the advertisement..


What do you think will appeal the most...
 
Well to convince a women/girl is i think a tuff task for the companies because in India most of the decisions related to house hold products are taken by the women in the family and to convince women advertisement must have following thing:---
1-- A cool and glamorous image,
2-- A good discount offer or a good scheme because women in most of cases look for savings.
3-- Advertisement must prove product as healthy and user friendly.
4-- and last but not least product must have a good and attractive look.

I think if we follow above mentioned ways we can convince the women/girl :) :)
 
if d products r for d women..den certainly companies will try to impress... n also if d companies feel dat d sale of d product somehow relates to the decision of the women in d house...den again de'll go for it
 
Women are emotional oriented and sensitive creatures of nature...for them the value of the product matters...a normal household wife does not look at the brand unless and until she grows loyal to it....the trick just lies in attracting the women consumer because most of the times she's the decision maker of the household in the country...showing fucntional benefits of the product..either thu ads or perosnally helps...personally as in most companies specially lower detergents and kind....gained entry in the rural segment thru this technique...because if sumthin is shown to u then u tend to trust it more...and it's more so with women!
 
as being a girl myself i think the most appealing way to persuade a woman to buy a product is by getting it endorsed by a girl herself and showing the impact of product example fairness creams and all
 
There are many effective ways-
Use Jealousy quotient
tell them how will product make them look or feel more beautiful
tell them her other friends already use it
and finally the emotional trick never fails
 
well..i do agee with the above post..many a times the jealousy tricks works well...
but in mostly all the ads catering to women...a women herself is used for advertising the product...does women have a strong same sex bonding...??..well ya i do think so..women trust women a lot more than they trust men..

Ideal strategy is tell her she cant have it.. she will crave to have it ;)

On a serious note, you cannot generalize women. They play varied roles and you need to know which side of the emotional chord you need to strike. A scooty pep ad will almost never go " 1 - 100 kmph" in 6 seconds.. thats a disaster !
 
Women works as a bonding structure for family.
All requests do come and halt at the femine party for resolutions. All demands, wants are fulfilled by the supply from the home minister.
Women's are truly home minister!!
It is a fact every Man should accept..
Man is true with one of the ladies in his life.. It can be Mother, Sister, wife or so on so forth.
Man's decision is dependent on the responsibilities towards families. Once he is married, responsibilities increase towards families / better half!!
An engagement with a Lady brings a path... a way... a direction to Man's life. I myself have experienced how much impact one's wife has on decisions made after marriage.
All this and much more.. That is why our society, our culture gives so much importance to womanhood. So much importance to marriages... So much importance to Rakshabandhan, bhaiduj.
Taking all above factors into consideration, advertisements are tending to involve women. Women play important part in decision making.
 
product placement is one important aspect for successfuly launching a product...

the key considerations while launching a product to female customers as per me would be using idealised images that have connection with the product..

-Using an Ideal in the commercial...for uplifting desires.

-By depicting highly-valued propositions and benefits

-striking the cognitive chord as mentioned above
