ICICI Bank Duplicate website Beware

Hi,

For all those who do online banking transactions. Just take care.


Please be aware of the duplicate ICICI Bank website available in the internet.
This is one of the worst fraud scam ever seen.

When you get the login screen, please check the url

Here are the both the URLs, they are almost the same, except there is a space (%20) at the end of the Finishing URL.

https://infinity. icicibank. co.in/BANKAWAY? Action.RetUser. Init.001= Y&AppSignonBankId= ICI&AppType=corporate&abrdPrf=N%20



Actual ICICI Site
https://infinity. icicibank. co.in/BANKAWAY? Action.RetUser. Init.001= Y&AppSignonBankId= ICI&AppType=corporate&abrdPrf=N


Please forward this to your friends, relatives, any one of them must be having one or another salary or savings accounts......................

dude, even when i clicked on the link to the duplicate site, the link opened was www.icicibank.com

There was NO %20 i.e. both the pages show icicibank.com

So, how can the site be different if it is pointing to the same link, i.e. www.icicibank.com

Pl check and reply.

i also checked,

but i got this mail, it cannot be a fake mail,:SugarwareZ-064:

their must be something hidden...........

so everyone should be protected

Well duplicate sites do exist. But the guy who sent this mail has goofed up.

Both the links point to the same domain and hence, one cant be duplicate. Had the page existed on a different server, then it would have been fake.
