The more recent plants at Hyderabad and Bhopal are equipped with state-of-art machinery and are in the process of obtaining the ISO certification. History:
In the year 1926 Makson Group started as a small manually operated inhouse confectionery products manufacturing unit for local market. Later the founder & chairman of the company Mr. Dhanjibhai who is a mechanical engineer visited an exhibition in 1972 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi where he came across a Double Twist-wrapping machine and he decided to build confectionery machineries. Since that day he started to build the machine just by viewing the image of the machine in the catalogue and finally succeeded after constant hard work of eight years.

The chairman of the company Mr. Dhanjibhai was awarded "Self made Industrialist" award in the year 1981 by the Vice President of India and ExOfficio Chairman of the Rajya Sabha Mr. Hidayat Ullah. Following this award many other awards such as "The National Award for Import Substitution" in the year 1983, "Export Award" by the Government of India. He was also awarded the "LENCO Excellence Award" as "The Best Industrialist & Philanthropist".

Development

After this initial experience Makson started to build machineries and emerged as an export unit for confectionery machinery to the countries such as Algeria, Brazil, Kenya, Nigeria, Tunisia, U.A.E., Zambia, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Indonesia, Mauritius, Nepal, Srilanka, etc. Makson has even supplied a turnkey plant to Procter & Gamble -Nigeria&Kenya and many other reputed companies. Today makson delivers confectionery machines to India& all over the world.

First of all the raw-material such as sugar, liquid, glucose, syrup, and the addition of colour are mixed in to rector at 75* to 95*degree temperature. In the next step the mixed of raw-materials is to go in the leaf filter for clarity. After that the next step is the mixer is goes out in holding tank for temporary saving. In forth step the mixer of raw-material is go to the coil cooker for making a medicine in a liquid form at 140*salacious to 150*salacious. In fifth stage the mixer of sugar, glucose, syrup, & liquid are discharge under vacuum at 0.8 to 0.10 bars. In six step the line mixing of citric acid, anhydrous, medicated essence/flavour are dosing per minute ,speed of line mixing. After the line mixing the material was go to the candimass cooling belt here thee candimass cooling belt is give out put per minute in kgs. Then above medicine is goes out to the batch roller and rope seizer for …. Batch Roller: Stainless steel trough is built up with stainless steel rotary conical roller which rotates clockwise & anti clockwise which converts the cooked mass into cone shape. Rope Sizer: Rope speed is infinitely adjustable to feed the forming machine. The speed of equalizing roller is so co-ordinate to ensure equal feeding to successive rollers.

After the cutting in rope seizer the medicine is come to the lozenge formation at appearance, average wait, uniformity of wt. The complete medicine is cooling in the cooling conveyor. After that all process the medicine is come in the mental detection at metal contamination and go to the sample or transfer to the analysis.

Production, Planning and Material Control Department (PPMC) is based on the sales projection and calculates the requirement of the raw material for each department for each product. PPMC department authenticates raw material issued.
