Now that I have already mentioned in my previous post, why co-sharing office space is a great idea, you must be wondering how to find the right one for your startup. Fret not, here are some tips to help you.
1. Location: Is the office space in a good locality (your female members should be comfortable visiting the area) andwell-connected by public transport? Another important thing to consider is if the office is clean and well maintained or resembles like a stock exchange on a bad day. Ideally, pick up a location which is startup friendly or at least offers logistics you are looking for.
2. Rent:Find out if the rent is within your budget and what all amenities (food, wi-fi, meeting rooms, etc)are included in the rent.
3. Scalability: Once your team grows, you will need more seats. Does the office space give the option of leasing more seats as and when required?
4. Mentorship: Most co-working spaces invite VCs or other successful entrepreneurs to help startup founders deal with a range of issues like funding, marketing, technology, etc. Find out if your co-working space offers mentorship support.
If there is any other factor specific to the nature of your startup, don’t forget to add it to the list by commenting below!
