Graduate Aptitude Test or GATE is conducted by the IIT’s and IIST’s of our country. The admission will be given to the Masters in Technology course. This is a post graduate degree program. Department of Higher Education and National Coordination Board is the sole authority controlling this exam and the institutes. Offline and online application forms can be submitted for applying for this exam.
Instructions to be followed for filling GATE form
Clearly mention the elective subjects and the center of exams in the form.
Do not rewrite or scribble in the application form.
Another important thing a candidate should remember is about the documents to be submitted along with the form. No forms or documents should be submitted with this application form. It should be only submitted at the time of interview.
Candidates before submitting the online application form, he / she must create an email id. The form submitted should contain only valid and correct information about the candidate.
Candidate must keep with himself a copy of the form submitted through online means and a copy of the payment mode. When the online submission is complete, a page showing the confirmation message will appear. Applicants are asked to download that page and affix their photos, signature and contact details on it. After completing this, send the application form to the CBSE.
For candidates submitting forms through offline means, make sure the form is brought from authorized centers. Forms are available from the selected banks and from the IIT’s and IIST’s. Don’t send the form as incomplete, as it may lead to many problems in the future.
