HIGHLIGHTS OF THE IIM PLACEMENTS (PGP) 2011

Out of the Total 100% students eligible for placements, it was 96.81 % of them who accepted the offers.

Only 7 of the PGP graduates planned to enter the World of Entrepreneurship which accounts for almost 2% of the batch.

The offers majorly came from sectors like Consulting, Banking, Financial and Insurance, thus following with FMCG, telecom and Manufacturing.

If you check out the global classification from 286 graduates , 260 chose India.

Maximum Earning Potential (including non-cash, long term and performance linked components) Domestic includes minimum of 8 lakhs and max of 37 lakhs.

Maximum Earning Potential (including non-cash, long term and performance linked components) International includes minimum of $60,500 and maximum of $1,35,643

Out of the 186 offers 98 were from Mumbai :)

Total Guaranteed Cash component in Mumbai - Median Rs. 13,55,004 & Mean Rs.15,80,793

Sector-wise classification of Salary – Domestic (INR) - Median Rs14,45,000 (banking , insurance and financial services) and Mean of Rs17,54,417 in the same sector

Sector-wise classification of total guaranteed cash component – Domestic - Median Rs15,30,000 (Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI)) and Mean Rs18,04,417

Out of the total 97 Pre-Placement offers awarded 71 were accepted.
