What a shame and disgrace to every citizen of India that the elite NSG Forces were transported in ordinary BEST buses whereas our cricketers are transported in state of the art luxury buses; these Jawans lay down their lives to protect every Indian and these cricketers get paid even if they lose a match; we worship these cricketers and forget the martyrdom of these brave Jawans. The Jawans should be paid the salaries of the cricketers and the cricketers should be paid the salaries of the Jawans

Its just a sentimental opinion of your's.Filmstars get high amount of money as they deserve this. They also work, they are the ones who entertain us,they are the ones who bring smile to our face when we tired or upset. Why we people prefer watching movie when we are tired or when we want have fun? The simple answer is by watching movies we smile and we relax. In the same way cricketers get high income, there is nothing wrong in that also.

Film stars bcoz they work longer hours under harsher conditions unlike a cricketer who gets paid even if he doesnt play.film stars work day n night against their schedule.....

To unka hakh zyada banta hai yaar....

Who commands a bigger premium - film stars or cricketers?

A: If you look at the average price the top five film stars command for an average endorsement and compare that to what the top five cricketers get, the film stars are way ahead.

Q: Could you share some figures?

A: Aamir Khan apparently commands Rs 10 crore (Rs 100 million) while Sachin Tendulkar and M S Dhoni get around Rs 5 crore (Rs 50 million). It is natural that the endorsement price is heavily skewed in favour of icons like Aamir, Shahrukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, Sachin Tendulkar and M S Dhoni. These five, on average, get roughly three times what the next 10 get. And, yes, Aamir Khan is the highest-paid brand ambassador today.

But let's not get into their prices as these vary depending upon the brand and product category. For instance, compared to other product categories, a mobile phone brand would pay a premium to a male icon. Similarly, colour cosmetics' brands would pay female stars more.

The value of the deal depends on the duration of the contract and the number of days the stars commit to endorse the brand. Among female stars, Genelia D'Souza is said to be getting more than some of the established ambassadors. Most of the numbers that are reported are rubbish. Discussing endorsement fees makes little sense as, in this field, the standard deviation is so high that the averages have no meaning.

I think each of these fields are very sensitive and performance based. When you performed well you confirm your place and when you failed you have to sit in a corner. Both do the hard work to maintain fit and to give 100%u0025 in performance. So there should be no comparison between them.
