High Value Brand Selling Organizations
? High value brand selling organizations according
to customer perceptions sell produce products with high quality and standards. ? Customers trust these products and thus are ready to spend more money on them than the generic product with the same quality, quantity and other features. ? For eg: A brand like Dell is considered for its after sales service which makes it a reliable product.
Generic Products Selling Organizations
? Generic products are those which do not have a
brand name or have a lesser brand name, for eg; name of the product is on the basis of the name of the store it is being sold in. ? Generic products do not command the high amount of trust and pricing which a branded product may call for. ? For eg: the same drug which is sold by high value brand may not be sold at the same price and in same quantity when the same drug is sold under a generic name

qualitative products at lower prices. ? This attracts the usage by majority of the society. Thus, it makes it easier for the generic product to capture the market and acquire its major share. ? These companies also develop market loyalty through these products as people try the product because of its lower price and become loyal to the product because of the benefits it provides at lower cost.
