Globalization is a phenomena that has spread rapidly over past decades, particularly in the 1990s and in the 21st century. It entails an increase in trade and capitalism internationally. While this may have great benefits, many are concerned that it is the cause of generating significant discontent in many regions of the world. In the Middle East, concerns have been raised that globalization's discontents are turning to terrorism.

* Globalization increases education, helps fight terrorism. Better educated people are less likely to be ideological extremists. In so far as globalization improves education, it reduces the risk that individuals will become radical and then become terrorists. I think that the overall effect of globalization will ultimately reduce the amount of international terrorism.
