Chandigarh: Aiming to enhance the state’s rail connectivity, the Haryana government has set aside 50% of its investment worth Rs2,515 crore for implementing three rail projects. The projects outlined are Delhi-Sohna-Nuh-Ferozpur Jhirka-Alwar (104 km), Hisar-Agroha-Fatehabad-Sirsa (93 km) and Yamunanagar-Sadhora-Naraingarh-Chandigarh (91 km).
Apart from this, the Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Oscar Fernandes also disclosed the sanctioning of Railway over Bridge at Dabwali, worth more than Rs37 crore.
“Besides the rail projects, the government have also decided to distribute Rs10 crore each to all seven assembly segments of Hisar for executing numerous development works. Sanction has also been permitted for the construction of a stadium at Hisar,” said the Haryana Chief Minister, Bhupinder Singh Hooda.
