Harry Potter rules book charts even before its release
The final Harry Potter book has topped the Amazon.co.uk book chart, even though its release date and price have not been decided.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows hit number one just eight hours after customers were offered the chance to reserve a copy online.
The website's head of books, Christopher North, called this an 'incredible achievement'.
'The fact that this is the final instalment seems to have heightened the excitement and buzz around this Harry Potter title,” he was quoted by the Daily Mail, as saying.
'If the initial response is anything to go by, this could be the biggest selling Harry Potter of all time,' he added.
A release date has not yet been announced for the seventh book - but it can be reserved on the internet shopping site for £13.99.
