Happiness is a mystery like religion, and it should not be rationalized

Hi guys,

We all have our own definitions of happiness. While some of us are satisfied and happy only if we are stable financially, the rest are happy even otherwise. The secret of happiness is to be satisfied with what we have. Happiness, just like religion is vast and holds different meaning to all of us. Happiness cannot be concluded. It’s a never ending feeling.The Pursuit for happiness can never be stopped. Hence we should rationalize it. Happiness is an emotion that can be felt.

And we must never rationalize emotions.


Happiness just like religion, to each one of us means different and holds differently within us. They say that happiness is a mystery because at times unknowing things give us happiness. Happiness just like religion cannot be found. You just get it and feel it.

The level,meaning of happiness varies from person to person.Different people have various versions or perception of happiness.FOR a poor person happiness could be defined in getting a stomach filling meal,For a student happiness could be in good admission and marks(academic ),rich persons happiness could be in getting more wealthy.So happiness is a expression and i can't have a specific meaning or outline.We cant rationalize happiness.Happiness is more to be felt within than analyzing it.

Tanvi, i am agree with you. Different people have different reasons of their happiness. A kid will be happy when he gets desired toys, chocolate and sweets, a mother is happy seeing her family and kids happy. Happiness is a feeling and emotion which is expressed by us and religion is not an emotion.
