Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) conducts a common entrance test each year for the selection of candidates to various courses offered by the University. GGSIPU CET MCA is an entrance test conducted by the University for the admission to the MCA/MCA Software Engineering courses. These courses have duration of 3years. Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) is a most reputed University in India. The institutes under this University offers best infrastructural facility and quality education and training for their students. Candidates from all over the country apply for the test each year. The test is a highly competitive one.

Structure of GGSIPU CET MCA

The admission into the MCA courses in GGSIPU has certain procedures. First the candidates have to attend the entrance test. The GGSIPU CET MCA is an objective type test consists of 150 questions. The time given for completing the test will be two and a half hours. Four marks are given for each exact answer. Four options are given for each questions, the candidates have to pick the correct answer from them and mark it in the OMR answer sheet. One mark from the total mark secured is deducted for each wrong answer. The score secured in the written test determine the candidates’ eligibility for joining the MCA programme in GGSIPU.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates who have secured a graduation degree from any affiliated University in any subjects with 50% marks can apply for the test. They should have studied English or Mathematics in their plus two classes. The Candidates who have a BCA/BIT/BIS or an Engineering degree certificate with 50% marks can also apply for the test. The upper age limit for the candidates to apply for the GGSIPU CET MCA exam is 35 years. The final year graduate students can attend the test. They have to present all the proofs of having the eligibility requirements at the time of the admission. The candidates should possess good physical and mental health at the time of the admission.

The application form and the information brochure will be available from the designated branches of Indian Bank against the cash payment of Rs.1000/-. The candidates can receive the application form and prospectus through post. For this the candidates have to send a request letter in a plain paper to the Joint Registrar of GGSIP University.

A demand draft of Rs.1100/- should be sent along with the application form. The applicants name and address should be mentioned clearly. A self addressed envelope should be attached along with it. As a result of this letter application form must be forwarded by the University in Registered post or speed post. The application fees may not be refunded. The candidates have the facility for the online submission of the application form.

How to fill the Form?

All the guidelines for filling the form are clearly mentioned in the exam prospectus. The candidates should fill the form in their handwriting using a ball point pen. The form must be filled in block letters and appropriate bubbles in the OMR form should be darken with a HB pencil. Do not staple or pin the application form. The recent colour photo of the candidate must be pasted in the space provided for it. Do not make any mistakes in the application form; it leads to the rejection of the form. The filled form should be send to the name of the Registrar of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University before the last date for submitting the form.
