According to the New England Historic Geneological society, newly elected Massachusetts senator Scott Brown and Barack Obama are related - 10th cousins to be exact.
But what I found really interesting is the number of US presidents Obama is related to:
"In 2008, the society discovered that Obama is related to seven prior presidents, including George H. W. Bush, George W. Bush, Jimmy Carter, Gerald Ford, Lyndon Johnson, Harry S. Truman and James Madison."
I have for a long time believed that the personality characteristics necessary to launch oneself into the White House were those of a sociopath, and I have also believed that the sociopathy is the result of a genetic predisposition.
Now I am convinced of it.
