Growth of the ‘Game’ Cult

The ‘Game Cult’ in politics is growing. The political parties and Netas are changing colours like chameleon to project themselves adorning the ‘shoes of the Game’. The political themes followed by the parties and the Netas are changing in line. However, the predicted ‘churn’ is unlikely to halt. The ‘images’ honed up’ in past as well as ‘records of actual activities’ have a strange habit of falling out of closet often at most inappropriate times. This is especially true in politics and is most likely in a competitive politics especially in a country as diversified as India. The dice seems to be in motion to set this up. So while pot-shots and salvos are being exchanged, one should maintain a degree of circumspection around. However, this is increasingly being ignored as the Netas want to convince their supporters about their invincibility and depth of handle over the ‘Game’. Quite a few Netas seem to be already rattled as a few others seem to be rising to their ascendancy of Netadom in this given competitive scenario. While some prophets are betting big-time that old mantras repeated from high podiums, commercial news media, print and manipulated version of social media on the back of ‘you know what power’ will do the trick, again that is. However, the more seasoned ones have already decided that which ones’ are likely to be their serious challengers in a constituency and have either set out or are setting out their ‘game plan’ already.
Not only the past conduct and promises from candidates and parties are being raised, but even the current set of candidate’s credentials and practicability of current promises. However in spite of the same, the condition of local government/municipalities, sarkari schools, health centers, infra like roads/sanitation/ water-supply etc. and welfare distribution like ration/medicines remain weak. Also, the candidates and parties won’t discuss any ‘change proposals’ for systemic improvement in these services. While some Netas seem to be attempting to make connects with farm/agri related business networks, however what kinds of policy interventions are being planned/proposed needs to be seen as of yet. While there is a lot of noise on loans to small and medium enterprises, however a simple bill discounting for SME suppliers to government or its undertaking at center and states via exchanges is still a far cry. Any movement here would not only cut corruption, but also improve financing to a meaningful extent, especially if this can cascade to subsequent tiers. Instead we have noise around energy-inflation and pocketing of taxes, though this may have started to pinch a bit. However the Netas would like to focus on things on which there is seldom any possibility for any party and Neta to make any meaningful impact, and the commercial news media would continue to highlight this sans any merit-worthy suggestion, while it would continue to ignore the real reasons that would bring about ‘change’. This is because it wants the ruling Netas as well as struggling Netas to continue to focus ‘where it wants the focus to-be’ rather than issues where some change/progress can be made, for those close to power fear the ‘change’ which is possible, rather than mere musical chairs amongst Neta. The smarter Netas, however have realized where the focus should be, if they want to ensure a ‘political change’ though and this would be the ‘real Game’ cult. The forecast of ‘Game’ remains as per its previous prophecy and it seems somewhat greater surety now ‘http://www.managementparadise.com/article/9759/the-prophecy-of-the-game-part-ii .’ Let the ‘Game’ evolve…
