Important stages in the course of ICBS
• 1977 ICBS Thessaloniki Business School was founded to collaborate with 3 British institutes:
• CAM Education Foundation
• Institute of Marketing
• Association of Business Executives
• 1983 Collaboration with the University of Georgia
• 1990 Relocation to the new purpose built Galene Campus
• 1991 Commencement of the Bachelor Degree programmes in
Collaboration with University of Ulster
• 1992 Graduation of first Bachelor Degree students
• 1995 Commencement of collaboration with Kingston University for Under-graduate and
Post-graduate programmes
• 1997 Foundation of the Athens Campus (ICBS Athens Business
School)
• 1998 Athens Business School in operation at a new location.
• 1999 9 new postgraduate courses to run in Athens and Thessaloniki.
• 2000 Accreditation by the British Accreditation Council (QAA).
• 2000 Accreditation by the Quality Assurance Agency.
• 2001 Acknowledgement of ICBS by the Federation of Industries of Northern Greece, for the delivery of post graduate programmes.
• 2002 ICBS Business School becomes the only educational institution in Greece offering an AMBA (Association of MBAs) accredited MBA.
• 2003 Foundation of the Larissa Campus (ICBS Larissa Business School).
• 2005 Commencement of collaboration with Kingston University for Post-graduate programmes in Cyprus
