gift for employees ?

hi all, I'm looking for some ideas for corporate gifting. I work in a small IT firm as a HR manager. Global recession has hit the compensation package for our employees but we wanna make sure that the productivity wont go down. This season we have decided to gift out something cool that has long lasting impression and motivates our employees. need ideas on gifts ?? thanks in advance..

if its an IT firm then T-shirts with company logo would do well !

or a high priced or unique design pen would be good too
