hey frnzz i had tuned in radio n was lissenin to dis...it was a discussion abt "ppl gettin jobs" or shall i say "right ppl getting d jobs"or may be "ppl who dont deserve get the jobs".It was a nice discussion whr ppl put forward their views n opinions...like sum1 said: the person who deserves it, gets it..
another said: thrs nuthn abt deserving ...its just abt getting noticed...if u come in the eyes of the right ppl..den u hv it...while d 1s who deserve r left behind..

well frnzz wht do u hv to say abt dis: is it really just about gettin noticed???the discussion also included physical appearance .....[ppl tryin diff. looks and appearances for gettin noticed]...
is it not ur hardwork and the fact that u get noticed what gets u d job u deserve..???

simple true factt is.... get urself noticed towards the right ppl..n futher..if u deserve the job offered by the ppl who notice u...ur in or else thrown back home...

well wht u said is true.....but ain thr ppl who dont deserve d jobs ,get noticed....n get the jobs while d 1s who really deserve are left behind......

so does dis mean: hard work doesnt count but jus gettin noticed matters??

read wht i said frnd...ppl who get noticed...n thn if they deserve r IN... n if wht u say ...ppl r getin noticed n dnt deserve n get the job..thn thts wrong on part of the rn n thier selection process...

its nt always nec for u 2 get noticed.... offers at times come ur way easily but thts nt for all...

it depends on the kind of jiob ur doing..........cetainly if ur opting fro a technical, mngmnt, skill based post............its just nnot possible for a person whos go the loooks a s apriority........

its d talent that gets thru...............

appearance might just be mattering incase of non skilled base executive jobs.......

(in my opininon

agree wid wht u say...but den ydo ppl emphasize so much on their appearance....???as in if its only talent whch counts then y stress so much on lukin presentable..??

rosh..................plz defien appearance ....acc to u..................

presentable..........is essential but an attractive outlook is not exactly dat 'presentable' that is essential

i feel i can add to it, so here is my view!!!

companies have 2 different strategies while selecting candidates & retaining them afterwards...

1stly we should not forget that the interviewer is smart enough to judge the right canditate & his knowledge level!!aakhir usne baal dhoop mei safed nahee kiyei hai!!hahahah!! ok back to topic:

they generally look out fr those who are medioceres but do have willingness to learn and present it afterwards...
people who are more vocal get noticed 1st but if they dn't complement it with their knowledge then they are the boggest losers!!!
the one who speak less( i dn't say " silent") do also attract recruiters as they are the ones who may have many things in mind!! the moment they answer well, they are selected.....

so it all rest on a knowledge base!!!
speak less or more ,dress up decently or boldly....you will eventually get noticed...
substantiate with proper knowledge & the battle is won!!!!

take care

according to me its more of smartworking( hard work in right direction,+ right attitude) than hardwrk alone!!! also destiny is what we make by ourselves!!!!

hope it make things easy .....
take care

Its all about volunteering yourself to the organization. If you aren't already, start volunteering for an organization that focuses on something that you're passionate about. You may end up doing boring or easy work in the beginning but as you stick around and demonstrate your commitment, you'll be given more responsibilities. Not only will you be helping others, but you'll also be gaining references.
