GE Shipping Q1 net up 74%
Great Eastern Shipping Company (GE Shipping) has posted a net profit of Rs 421.04 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2007, an increase of 74% when compared with Rs 241.06 crore in the quarter ended June 30, 2006.
Total income increased 58% from Rs 547.40 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2006 to Rs 869.69 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2007.
