Former Ambassador Zalmay Khalilzad appointed U.S. adviser on Afghanistan

Former U.S. Ambassador to Afghanistan Zalmay Khalilzad has been appointed by the State Department as an adviser on Afghanistan, U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said on Tuesday.<div class="feedflare">
