Some of the views shared by the students while they were busy pinning each others’ batches and scholar caps.
The cafeteria, the wash rooms, the pentagon and the classrooms were all full of the passed-outs. Extremely enthusiastic and full of contentment they were meeting each other as if it has been years since they last met. Their friendly attitude with the canteen guy and the teachers was telling about their joyous and proud two year journey at FORE. Loaded with those bulky black gowns with the red, yellow and blue colored hoods, they were all looking like clones.

FRESHER’S NIGHT
The Freshers’ night
It was early evening and the clouds were hovering overhead, but the mood was upbeat and the spirits were as high as the humidity. This was the fresher’s welcoming bash in a nutshell. Moreover this was the ?rst time that the 240 odd new joiners came to the college, dressed not in the Grey and White. The auditorium was starting to ?ll at 4 PM and by 5 PM almost all had gathered. The show began with the new joiners showing off their skills. There was a dance performance and a solo singing act. But soon enough the seniors took over, with a sensational performance of the song “Zombie”, the stage was set. Equally thrilling was the dance by Chitwan, even though the presenter pulled her leg by asking her about the unique socks she wore. Further there was a Skit performed by the new joiners. But the real show stealer came when our college baba’s came on stage. They swept the audience of their feet and made everyone laugh as loud as they could. There recitals, prayers and advice ?lled the air with cheer. Their song on FCD was in particular the high point of their presence. They came on stage twice, and twice they set it on ?re. In between all the events, Mr and Miss Fresher’s round took place. In the ?rst round 8 male and 8 female contestants were called on stage. They were asked to tell something weird about themselves and then dance. All of them danced but some were more uncomfortable than the others. In the second round 5 participants made it through, where they were asked to purpose to a senior. The proposals were honest and poetic, but the seniors had a great time in tearing the love shown to them. quizzed on a bold question. In the end the two who gave the wackiest answer prevailed and it was Sneha from IMG and Ankit from FMG who were crowned the Miss and Mr Fresher. The crowd participation cannot be neglected. There was a lot of noise, noise constituting of cheers, claps, whistles and a lone Vuvuzela.Yes the Vuvuzela of the FIFA world cup fame was also brought and it made quite a sound. Additionally in most of the dance performance, crowd members came right up to the stage and danced ecstatically. Literally everyone was shaking a leg. The show ended at around 8 PM, after which dinner was served and DJ was started. Most people went to the dance ?oor and not many cared about eating so soon. The sunken garden was jam packed with a lot of enthusiastic dancers. The DJ played a popular mix of Hindi and English tunes. Even though everyone was sweating hard because of the humidity, no one stopped. Finally after 9PM it was announced that please proceed and have dinner. Slowly few started drifting towards the buffet dinner arranged. Mostly everyone liked the delicacies which included everyone’s favourite dishes such as Dal Makhni, Panner Kadai, Chicken Curry etc. Also variety of Indian bread and rice was served. To end it all was the hot Gulab Jamun and the cold ice cream. All in all the fresher’s was a big success. Everyone who attended enjoyed to the fullest. Everything was planned and thought of well and a lot of credit goes to the nexus team for organizing such a wonderful event. places in Delhi to carry on their celebrations late into the night.

The 2010 season of Super-8, the most anticipated cricketing event of FORE was organized in the month of July/August by FSD. The competition started with 14 teams and 4 groups, Group 1 and Group 4 having 4 teams whereas Groups 1 and 3 had 3 teams each. Two teams from each of the groups reached the quarter-?nals, which were followed by two semi-?nals and a ?nal. The tournament was off to a ?ying start with a scintillating match between the Spartans and the Drunkard Warriors. The game saw a splendid all-round performance by the Spartans who were victorious by 25 runs. This match set the ball rolling and was followed by some excellent matches where the audience witnessed excellent contests between the bat and ball. The teams which quali?ed for the quarter-?nals were: Match-Fixers, High-?yers, Kiss of Death, Outliers, Spartans, Knights and Warriors, Lazy 8 and GPD. After a few hard fought battles, the four teams reaching the quarter?nals were GPD, High-Flyers, Lazy-8 and the Kiss of Death. The favourites for the tournament GPD and Lazy-8 reached the ?nals which was a close encounter. Eventually the GPD claimed the title thanks to some splendid display of cricketing skills by the team. .

Issue nr 3 / 2010 FSD’s Football Magic
Football magic at FORE by Saurab Saharan
FSD’s Football tournament, “TIGER 7” started on the 18th of November 2010 and the ?nal took place on the 23rd of November. Packed in these six days were nine teams, two groups, 13 exciting matches, many goal and in the end one winner. The teams were named as innovatively as the football that was offered on display. Group A had ?ve teams and group B had four. Each team had 8 members, of which, seven played in a match and 1 was a rolling substitute. Each match was of thirty minutes durations having two half’s of ?fteen minutes each. If after that the match was tied then there were the penalty kicks. All the matches were played in Sanjay Van in front of our college. The group standings and the semi ?nal and ?nal result were groundbreaking.
However the tournament was plagued by some controversy when the ?nal match of Group B between Godfather and Red Bull was called off when Red Bull did not show up and the match was awarded to Godfather as a walkthrough. Group B was at a very precarious situation when this happened. Godfather needed to win by a margin of three goals to qualify thru to the semi ?nals and the team was pumped up to throw everything at the match but when Red Bull did not show up, the sprits were dampened and a lot of furor was created. Though Godfather won the match, they did not qualify for the semi ?nal. In the aftermath of the incident, FSD agreed to look into this and resolve this by the next sporting event. Tiger 7 tournament was a success in the end and FSD and its member did a brilliant job in managing the event and seeing its completion. They made all the arrangements and made sure the participants did not have any difficulty and we hope FSD keeps up their good job as such events are good for cheering up the students and adding a new dimension to our college life.
Semi Final Blackberry Boys 2-0 Hangover United White Knights 1-0 GPD
FINAL Blackberry Boys 1-0 White Knights
The biggest margin of defeat was handed to Kickass Warriors, who were annihilated 11-0 by the Blackberry Boys, who also took away the tournament and the prize. Blackberry Boys played the best football in the tournament and won all their matches and the ?rst year team went on to be crowned the champions.

Even though the party was over at FORE school of management, different It was down to three in the 3rd and the groups of student went to different ?nal round where the ?nalists were

Two teams from each of the groups reached the quarter-?nals, which were followed by two semi-?nals and a ?nal. The tournament was off to a ?ying start with a scintillating match between the Spartans and the Drunkard Warriors.
