Food for Thought (poem)

[/b]“A mutiny it is !”, they say aloud,[/b]

many at the deck , to the nebulous sight,[/b]

or just to be assured ;[/b]

the amorphous cloud.[/b]

[/b]

By dusk they had their fill,[/b]

of rations , seldom seen….[/b]

Alimentary articles were to no avail ,[/b]

as they longed they still ,[/b]

for their wives’ stew. [/b]

[/b]

Then there was the page, [/b]

Crestfallen to see the Captain down ,[/b]

and wondering about his wage………[/b]

[/b]

The port was as unwelcome as ever ,[/b]

yet did show their kith and kin,[/b]

Unwary of the ordeal at sea,[/b]

“the missing page and callous sin[/i].”[/b]
