To start first we need to understand what is ethics, the principles or fundamentals of life which are followed by group of people and which they respond through their behavior and attitude is Ethics, it can be different for individuals as there is no sort of Standardization involved but for food we can consider it as universal as this is what we live for...
If we take Sportsmen performing in advertisement into consideration then for some performing in any kind of advertisement add to their food / revenue, but for few acting in in Liquor advertisements would be unethical so for them ethics comes first and food later.
Similarly If we take Our Corporate family into consideration, few would like to indulge in providing the best to consumers while the most would like to utilize the cheapest and deadliest raw materials. So we can easily differentiate for whom what comes first...
Example would be the coca cola,Cad bury,Pepsi Case from the books of history.
