The FIIs as per Friday’s data were net buyers in equity segment while they were net sellers in debt segments, according to data released by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI).
In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 4055.90 crore against gross selling of Rs 2889.90 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1166.00 crore in equities.
In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1061.70 crore with gross sales of Rs 2062.20 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net sellers of Rs 1000.50 crore in debt.
