All living creatures deserve a second chance. You don't see orphanages killing off kids, now do you? Benefits of euthanasia: -more space -smaller cost Deteriments -animals being murdered -cost of chemicals to euthanize the animals -cost of cremation. Is it unnecessary for animal shelters to resort to euthanasia?

the reality is there are shed loads of unwanted dogs. If they weren't put down then who would look after them, where would we keep them and who would pay? Comparing this to children is not a reasonable argument I am afraid. Even in today's enlightened times we recognise the relative importance that we put on different animals. Harsh but true.

The Euthanasia Coaster is a concept for a steel roller coaster designed to kill its passengers. In 2010, it was designed and made into a scale model by Julijonas Urbonas, a PhD candidate at the Royal College of Art in London. Urbonas, who has worked at an amusement park, stated that the goal of his concept roller coaster is to take lives "with elegance and euphoria".
