ICICI Bank advanced 4.44 percent at USD 38.54 and HDFC Bank rose 3.27 percent at USD 35.71.
In the other sectors
Tata Motors was up 1.77 percent at USD 32.13 and Dr Reddys Laboratories rose 3 percent at USD 40.56.
