Hindustan Zinc’s (HZL), mined metal production in FY2013, as per the current year’s mine plan is expected to be slightly higher than the previous year, with production in H1 FY2013 marginally lower than that of last year, which will be more than made up in H2 FY2013. Accordingly, mined metal production was 190kt in Q2 and 377kt in H1, as compared with 210kt tonnes and 398kt tonnes in the corresponding prior periods.
