Event Objective
Much of modern India derives its identity from its businesses and the way they are managed. Business schools play a significant role in shaping the management of these businesses. This event is designed primarily to understand the expectations of the various stakeholders from premiere Business schools in India, in this task.

The event is designed as keynote speeches from the participants followed by a panel discussion.
Deliverable
Through this event, we hope to generate the stakeholder expectations from Business schools, which will help in shaping the vision and mission statements of business school at a strategic level and identifying areas for research and curriculum at the operational level.
Chairman of the Event
Prof. (Dr.) Kanika T. Bhal
Prof. Bhal is the Head of the Department at the Department of Management Studies, IIT Delhi. A Ph D from IIT Kanpur, she has been a visiting fellow at Sloan School of Management, MIT, Cambridge, USA. She has authored one and co-authored two books (published from Sage). She has published several articles in top international and national journals and is also on the editorial boards of International and national journals.
She has done sponsored research for international and national bodies like the US Air Force, ICSSR, MHRD, GLOBE project (with Fordham University and Wharton Business School). Besides being a consultant to various organizations like the Fifth Central Pay Commission of India, First National Judicial Pay Commission of India, DRDO, UPSC, DGS&D, Ministry of Rural Development and NICD; she is invited as an expert on several Government committees.
She is a member of the Academy of Management, USA, Society for Industrial Organization and Psychology, and the Global Institute of Flexible Systems Management.
