IIMC Alumni, Bangalore Chapter has taken the initiative to organize a Entrepreneurship Workshop on Campus on 15th October, 2011. The Bangalore chapter has some outstanding entrepreneurs who have launched and established very successful ventures after graduating from IIM Calcutta. Some of them have gracefully agreed to share their EXPERIENCE and organise this Workshop for the benefit of our students. The Bangalore Chapter has pledged to conduct this workshop every year.

Meena Ganesh:
Meena Ganesh is the CEO and MD of Pearson Education Services, a leading online tutoring company. Prior to this, Meena was the CEO of Tesco's operations in India. She also co-founded one of India's pioneering BPO companies: Customer Asset, which she sold to ICICI OneSource. During her five-year association with Microsoft India, she set up multiple business units for them. She was with PricewaterhouseCoopers and with NIIT during the initial 11 years of her career.
Ganesh Krishnan:
Krishnan Ganesh is the Founder and Chairman of TutorVista.com, a personalized, 24 hour online tutoring and test prep service. Ganesh began his career as Founder and CEO of IT&T Limited - India's premiere IT and network services company. After eight years at IT&T, he then went on to become the CEO of Wipro British Telecom/Bharti British Telecom where he turned around a drowning company on the brink of bankruptcy into a cash break even company. His next venture was as CEO and Founder of Customer Asset/ICICI OneSource, India's top BPO company, where he developed the company's staff from zero to 4,000.
A J Ishwar Kumar:
A J Ishwar Kumar is the Director of Sri Upasana Consultants, a Bangalore-based HR firm specializing in recruitment, talent management, strategic analysis, and soft skills. Ishwar founded Sri Upasana to put his extensive experience into business consulting and head hunting top management talents for corporates. His areas of expertise include marketing, market research, innovative product development, concept selling, advertising, sales, finance, customer care, human resources management, and industrial relations.
An MBA from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta, he has spent twenty seven years in corporates, over 15 years in top management positions in India’s top telecommunications company, and as many years in various sales and marketing roles in multinational organizations earlier.
Moloy K Bannerjee:
Moloy Bannerjee graduated from the IIMC in 1968. He was a Ford Foundation Scholar at the Carnegie Mellon University, USA. He was a Senior Executive with TELCO, in various departments. Subsequently he joined the faculty at the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore (IIM-B) and taught MIS, Production Planning, Materials Management and Operations Research. He later set out as an entrepreneur in the area of delivering Business Software solutions for a variety of industries and was also involved in system designing and implementation for financial firms like Grindlays Bank, ICICI, UTI, J.M. Finance. He set up India development centres for two large U.K. software organizations in the Insurance sector and Broking / Settlement sectors. He currently lives in Bangalore and supports civil society issues taken up by non-government organizations in Bangalore
Bala Natarajan:
Bala has an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering from Madras University and a graduate degree in electronic design from IISc, Bangalore. He was part of the graduating class of 1996 (PGP 31) at IIMC. After graduating from IIMC, he worked with CRISIL for 4 years in various divisions. Prior to that, he worked for with Idea Ventures, an early stage incubator, for 4.5 years. Assigned to manage one of their investments in a healthcare BPO firm (now e4e healthcare), Bala contributed to ramping up their business from < $0.5 Million revenues to $5 Million revenues and also cash profitability. He has completed 6 years recently at Progeon (now Infosys BPO), driving the profitable revenue growth of an early stage (KPO) business from
