Emilia Clarke is in a Dilemma
Emilia Clarke who plays the role of Daenerys Targaryen in the Game of Thrones series can’t be gone amiss. Everything is perfect about Daenerys, from her pet dragons to her platinum blond hair.
Apparently, the Game of Thrones actress who is a natural brunette has a bit of a love/hate relation with her platinum wig. In an interview she said that it is one of the biggest challenges for her. Emilia said that the challenges are namely the physical aspects of being under the baking sun in a desert in Morocco with wig. She also feels that when her wig comes off she feels that her energy goes down and she feels fatigued. When asked in an interview she said that she loves playing her role of Daenerys, which is also her first and proper job and she is very excited about the role and she also feels that her role is growing with her slowly and she will be able to expand herself as an actor. She first came into spotlight with the role of Holly Golightly in the Broadway production of Breakfast at Tiffany. She has won awards for her role as Daenerys in the Game of Thrones series and she also has been nominated for the primetime Emmy award for the same.
Emilia Clarke was born in London and grew up in Berkshire with her parents, her father is a theatre sound engineer, and her mother is a businesswoman. She has one younger brother. Clarke's interest in acting began at the age of three after seeing the musical Show Boat, on which her father was working at the time. She was educated at St Edward's School, Oxford from 2000 to 2005, and Rye St Antony School. She then studied at Drama Centre London, graduating in 2009.
Clarke's early work includes two plays at St. Edwards, ten plays at Drama Centre London, the 2009 Company of Angels production of Sense, and a 2009 commercial for Samaritans. Her first television roles were Saskia Mayer in a 2009 episode of Doctors and Savannah in Syfy's 2010 film Triassic Attack magazine named her as one of the "UK Stars of Tomorrow".
