With the ‘Game’ politics deepening and Netas of all hues and colour joining the growing ‘Game cult’, the idiot box discussions have become interesting and a bit more engaging. The readers of these articles in Management Paradise would recall yours’ truly’s comments that ‘In democracy, Game is truly of the people, by the people and for the people’. So we are witness to news and discussions about the tussles and wrangling that consume the Neta’s time while the commercial news media would ensure to keep people pondering over the Caste, Religion and Mandir issue. Of course, we still may have some small flock of people still pondering over the yesteryears and also some Netas as well as some ‘items’ drooling over re-selling and re-telling the past to us. But there is a rising number looking at the state of schooling, sanitation, water, food & agriculture, etc. and of course not to forget Jobs and Development. The Netas and their progeny who would never talk about the same are now parroting these to even out-do the legendary Kishore Kumar over here. Welcome to the ‘changing polity’ that was envisioned-forecasted well in advance although some Netas confused changing polity about ‘just about one change in a ruling party’. This was always about a churn of issues and the public issues being given more and clearer attention including in the ‘media’. The commercial news media gave way, but only after so..oo… long….

It is not that the commercial news media would stop to sell the ‘old ragas’ just like that. At least this is unlikely till the time it is able to manufacture ‘new ragas’ all by itself. Then of course one has a growing list of Netas feeling disenchanted because the ‘old agenda’ seems not being followed and these may be within the government as well as outside. This even as they realize that ‘old agenda’ only generates a poor minority which doesn’t even succeed to conjure up a workable coalition of sorts. While the Netas seem to be realizing however the commercial news media would still not correctly bucket the municipal and ward level issues in the right bucket, the state level issues in state bucket and the identify national issues as rightly so. It would rather ‘follow’ perceptions weaved by the Netas around news and issues, for which it gets paid, although not admit the same and would ‘blame masses’ or ‘perceived number of people’ behind the Netas. This is even as there might be now more followers for social media and Whatsapp university, than for any single of the commercial news media channel. Of course there might be several of the social media or whatsapp channels given the nature of this ‘communication channel’. It may be noted that even now very little information trickles about the defaults of the big businesses with banks even if some information flows about failure of the banks, bank managements and financial institution failures. There are very few Netas including from the sides who claim to be ‘fire brand and independent’ to give any clear stand or information over the ‘issues involved here’ in policy terms.

While the Netas are taking initiative to educate ‘industrial workers’ to impress upon them how their jobs may be flying away, Game feels some of them should also take initiative to impress upon local school & health-care workers on how to ‘deliver upon their jobs’ failing which the Neta’s job now flies away. Towards this front, Game liberally acknowledges the effort of even some select news media in building this up, but even the news media should acknowledge there aren’t much takers at the Neta-level as of yet. This is perhaps because some of Neta still feel confident that social media would not spread much and people follow the commercial news media perhaps much more as propagated by the commercial news media itself. This is even as the forecast of Game about the Third Flush is out. So, let the ‘Game’ evolve….

Bundelkhand, a region straddling the states of Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh in central India, has historically been a focal point of electoral interest due to its unique demographic, economic, and social landscape. The region, known for its rich history and cultural heritage, has often been marked by high levels of voter turnout and intense political competition. During election seasons, media coverage in Bundelkhand is extensive, with local and national news outlets closely monitoring the trends, issues, and personalities that shape the political narrative. Candidates from various parties campaign rigorously, addressing concerns such as water scarcity, agricultural distress, and lack of infrastructure, which are paramount to the region's development. The electoral process in Bundelkhand is also significant for its impact on the broader political dynamics of both Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh, as it can sway the balance of power in these states. Journalists and political analysts often delve into the region's caste and community dynamics, which play a crucial role in determining voting patterns and electoral outcomes. Despite the challenges, the elections in Bundelkhand serve as a powerful platform for citizens to voice their aspirations and hold their leaders accountable, highlighting the robust nature of India's democratic process even in its most rural and marginalized areas.
