In the event that you experienced childhood in the 90′s, you would affectionately recall the time of record tape, tapes, VCR's and walkman, with a weak grin waiting all over. Ayushmann Khurrana's Dum Laga Ke Haisha took me back in time, when I experienced childhood in little interesting town of Ambala, far from the excited quick paced life. As the motion picture kept on chugging along pleasantly, I about-faced in memory path and valued those less complex times in life.
Set in Haridwar, Sharat Kataria's Dum Laga Ke Haisha had figured out how to provoke enthusiasm of the masses with its straightforward yet beguiling trailer. Additionally, the world is quick to know how great is YRF's new find, Bhumi Pednekar. Thus, how is Dum Laga Ke Haisha?
The film tells the story of two outsiders, Prem (Ayushmann), child of a tape shop manager, and Sandhya (Bhumi), a B.Ed graduate, who are united in a far-fetched marriage. While Prem is constrained into wedding Sandhya, because of weight from his relatives, Sandhya has a real preferring for Prem. However dear me, Prem demonstrates no enthusiasm for Sandhya and craves carrying on with an existence which he didn't request for. In a tipsy state, Prem embarrasses Sandhya before his companions, which prompts Sandhya storming out of the house.
The two seek separation, however the court requests them to stay with one another for six months prior to the last partition could happen. Then, Prem's family business of tape recording is debilitated by the opening of new CD store nearby, which is evidently claimed by his opponent.
