About us
A visionary, Dr. R. Vardarajan founded the National Education Society (NES) on April 14 th 1963 in the mission of providing school and college education to children of middle and lower middle class families in the relatively underdeveloped suburbs of Bhandup in Mumbai. Today, 49 years later, National Education Society along with the trust, Saraswati Vidyabhavan (SVB), founded in 1982 is prominent land mark in Bhandup, Mulund and Dombivli the suburbs of Mumbai. The group has 47 constituent institutions imparting quality education to over 30,000 students. The Ratnam College of Arts, Science and Commerce, one of the 47 institutes under the umbrella of NES/SVB trust was founded on 11 th July 1983. Affiliated to the University of Mumbai, the college has grown rapidly in a short span of 29 years, creating a niche for itself in the field of education in Mumbai. The college has been the recipient of ISO 9001:2000 certification in 2002 and has also been accredited with „A? grade by NAAC in February 2004 and 2010. During the academic years 2005-2006 & 2007-2008, the college was short listed as one of the best colleges (in urban area) affiliated to University of Mumbai. Recognizing the contribution made by college in improving the standard of the community surrounding its premises, Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai has renamed the Bhattipada road as Ratnam College Marg. The college offers besides the main streams, degree courses in Management and Banking and Insurance. The objective of launching this management course was to meet the demand of capable professionals in the market and also to enhance the professional abilities of today?s generation and stretch their mission and horizon. Ratnam College firmly believes that “No institution can possibly survive if it needs geniuses or supermen to manage it. It must be organized in such a way as to be able to get along under a leadership composed of average human beings”.

Foreword By dr. r. vardarajan

My dear students, It gives me great pleasure to address you in this issue of your annual departmental magazine „DOSSIER?.I heartily congratulate you for your efforts of blossoming biannually newsletter into an annual magazine and wishing the best for this and all your future issues. I have always envisioned that our country should create leaders to take India into the world level of excellence and towards this our NES & SVB group should be a pioneer. As students of BMS you have a greater responsibility on your shoulders, in these days of financial turmoil faced by many financial institutions. Worried as equally I am, I would like to reiterate the need for prudent thinking and thinking in terms of long term results, while at the same time not to be oblivious to the present global financial crisis which has regressed the growth rate of not only our country, but also of many hitherto flourishing countries as that is apt to dampen the efforts of every Indian contributing towards nation building. Now we have to doubly work hard to reach and retain the two digit rate and, my dear ones, I believe it is you, the young generation, who can bring revolutionary changes for Nation?s benefit. I advice you, with all your educational inputs, in this threatening scenario of the day, and your expertise acquired by skilful dedication, you will select your own line of action and bring a scope for trial to others, with novel thoughts and not following the much treated path. You have to prove yourself exceptional, through your own innovative learning skills and become responsible citizens of the world. That is what true education should teach you and not follow where the path may lead you to. Go, instead where there is no path, make your way and leave a trial, thus become responsible citizen of the world. This is what true education should be teaching you. I wish you all the best for your future endeavors of this kind. And once again I congratulate the BMS team for the great initiative and interest taken.

Dr. R. Varadarajan Founder President of NES & SVB Group of Institutions.

It is heartening to see that students of Department of Management Studies are bringing out third edition of their magazine „Dossier? with focus on the theme „Entrepreneurship?. NES Ratnam College has always believed in giving opportunities beyond classroom, to have talents of students and create leaders for tomorrow. I congratulate the students of Management Studies for choosing an appropriate theme for their magazine. Innovation, creativity, individual motivation and leadership attributes are the main ingredients for entrepreneurship development. With liberalization including systematic attempts to reduce „licence raj?and improve access to finance, a challenging option has opened up for students in not finding jobs but creating them through entrepreneurship. I am sure the exercise of bringing out the theme based magazine will be a great learning experience for students. My best wishes to the Chief Editor Ms. Kirti Menon and her team. I look forward to high quality of work in the magazine.

“Limitations live only in our minds. But if we use our imaginations, Our possibilities become limitless.”

It gives me great pleasure to share my thoughts with you on the occasion of the release of the annual BMS Departmental Magazine „Dossier?. Entrepreneurship is not a thing to be studied in books and put down in exam papers. This fact when realized in this true sense by the Editorial team, it was then thrown up to students to think and act on it. This year Dossier has come out with a theme „Entrepreneurship? with an aim to transform our budding managers to great Leaders of tomorrow. We at Ratnam provide a platform for our students to open up their mind and come out with wacky ideas which are then moulded in the right form. Dossier is the result of a similar effort made to make the students realize their undiscovered dreams and chase the same. I wish the Chief Editor Ms. Kirti Menon and the Editors Ms. Karishma Tinani and Mr. Royston Francis good luck who have pledged their efforts to accomplish this colossal task of bringing out the magazine. Good Luck and Cheers!!!

Fit for Entrepreneurship???

You may become entrepreneur, and be in favor and honor, You may start-up it on your own, or use the help of friends in town, You may become a business-angel, providing funding for all strangers. It doesn’t matter of what gender - You may be quite polite and tender You may start-up at grassroots’ level, or use buy-in or any merger In any case, then will raise, your status, welfare and the chase. Accepting it, you will from now, have troubles with funding, staff, Be worried by our nice taxation, engage your whole imagination In leasing any real estate … If you liked life – now you will hate And have some troubles every day, Until you find the better way You must be fit, and cool, and clever, you may compete - or skip forever, You’ll have to miss all your old friends, confronting any market trends. Be now aware of all that features, despite consultancies and teachers In this career you’ll be alone - As every serial entrepreneur.

The thing that always happens is one you really believe in; and the belief in a thing makes it happen.

Late is OK if it's WOW!!!
Of course, the ideal is to be on time. But It is never too late to become an entrepreneur. While some people start their entrepreneurial endeavors at a young age, others begin late in life, just when traditional conventions dictate that they should retire and take life a little more easily. One thing is sure, though: no matter what age you start, you need to be tough to succeed as an entrepreneur. Barbara Miller, founder and President of the Miller Paper Company based in Amarillo, Texas, is toughness personified. If there is any phrase that can aptly capture the spirit of Ms. Miller, it is this old adage: “When the going gets tough, the tough gets going.”

BARBARA MILLER For Ms. Miller, the going got about as tough as it ever does – losing a job, starting a business, and winning her bout with cancer – all of these after she reached the age of 60. Despite all adversities, she certainly got going. She transformed the corporation that she started from a nondescript start-up to a multi-million dollar company in just a span of five years.
It’s Never Too Late to Start Being an entrepreneur was not foremost in Barbara Miller?s life. In fact, she spent the most part of her life as an employee, working for various corporations in the paper industry. However, an unexpected twist of fate led her to shift gears away from the relative comforts of being an employee to one at the helm of her own ship. “I have been in the industry for more than 30 years,” said Ms. Miller. “A situation came about that several of us employees were shoved out the door. We decided that if we?d want a paper company, we?d get on with it. So we just literally opened up overnight.” With her former colleagues joining her, Ms. Miller pulled her resources together to start her own company. Miller Paper Company opened its doors in January 1995 with 15 employees. The company, based in Amarillo, Texas, is now a leading wholesale distributor of paper and related products in the Midwest. At her ripe age and after four grandchildren, Ms. Miller has proven that it?s never too late to jumpstart an entrepreneurial career.

One day your life will flash before your eyes. Make sure it is worth watching

The Fight of Her Life Her greatest start-up challenge was not raising capital, nor finding a strong management team. Rather, it was her health. Five months after opening the business, Ms. Miller was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Lesser mortals would have been crushed, but not Ms. Miller. She remembers her surgeon reassuring her son with the words: “She?s a tough old bird, she?ll make it.” Small Business Person of the Year Award 2000 No stranger to excellence, Ms. Miller has received various prestigious awards for both her business acumen and community involvement. ? ? In 1998, she received the Sam Walton Business Leader Award, while Miller Paper was named one of the nation?s fastest growing businesses by Dun and Bradstreet in 1997. She was elected Vice Chairman of the Amarillo Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors in 1999 and is Chairman Elect of the Chamber Board.

“I am very humbled and feel highly honored to receive this recognition,” says Miller on her SBA Award. She credits her success to her employees. “The team at Miller Paper, 30 full time and three part time associates, are what makes Miller Paper and Barbara Miller outstanding in the eyes of others.” Success Secrets Ms. Miller?s advice to would-be entrepreneurs: - “Find a niche that put your customer needs first and take care of their needs. Integrity and treating people just exactly as you would like to be treated,” says Mrs. Miller. “Make your customer feel very important – because they are! If you lose them, you?re out of business. Just integrity and pay your bills.” Ms. Miller is a remarkable woman who showed that retirement could mean starting a multimillion dollar business. “You take good people and just pat „em on the back and let „em know you?ll support them, and turn them loose and it?s amazing what they can do.” Barbara Miller certainly has proven just how amazing it can be.

Leadership is the capacity to translate vision into reality.

Winners Get Back Up on the Horse
In an interview Jack Welch, the CEO of General Electric, says "We look for people that are not perfect. People who have made mistakes; but know how to quickly get back up on the horse when they've been thrown off; and those who turn the loss around into a win. It isn't about never making mistakes, it's about getting back up and moving forward towards the results. If someone has never experienced falling off and shown their ability to get back up they might not be the managers we want."

JACK WELCH

"Leadership is about results, not experience, not education, or any of the other things that everyone claims is leadership. It's about ? ? ? Being able to consistently deliver results, Being able to recover from falling off that horse, And getting right back on until you ultimately deliver results."

That's so in line with what I keep telling my clients and my youth leadership groups I work with. The path to your destination is almost never a straight line. There will be zig zags, side trips, and steps backward. Too many people slip off the trail, and just walk away telling themselves they just failed. The winners are the ones that learn from what took them off the trail, figure out how to get back on the trail, and keep steadily plodding towards the goal even with the setbacks. ? Failure Is a Choice--Choose to Win ? You only fail one time--when you say you have....and QUIT. ? When that happens there is only one guaranteed outcome--Failure. That makes failure a choice. Those who choose to not get back on; choose to be victims. Those who win, choose to get back on the horse, get back on the trail and plod along towards the goal.

The difference between a boss and a leader, a boss says "Go!" - A leader says "Let's go!"

Entrepreneurship is going beyond profits
Why in the world would you choose to become an entrepreneur (be your own BOSS)? If your answer is simply because you want to make money (Profit) then you are paying a heavy price as an entrepreneur. Wanting to make a living is what exactly employees do; working nine-to-five to make ends meet. Social entrepreneurship, as a concept, has been in existence for a long time, but takers for it have been very few. However, the trend today shows that not only but are also youngsters taking the social unconventional route, understanding

entrepreneurship in the true sense. 'Finding their call', is what these young entrepreneurs call their 'social' ventures.

ANSHU GUPTA

Anshu Gupta, popularly known as ‘the Clothing Man’ graduated in Mass Communications twice and took his Masters in Economics. Starting as a freelance journalist, Anshu left the corporate job in 1998 and founded GOONJ; with a mission to make clothing a matter of concern and to bring it to light for the development sector. Goonj, a primarily volunteer run organization based in New Delhi provides clothes and other basic amenities to millions across India by turning one person's waste into a resource for another. It collects about 20,000kg of clothes every month across India, and turns them into something useable for the very poor - clothing, bags, sanitary napkins, etc. - and reaches them to the needy across 20 states. Goonj achieves this by running collection drives (called ‘Vastradans’) in urban India where people donate clothes which they do not use anymore, but which are in good condition and can be worn. These clothes are processed and sorted in centres run by Goonj across the country. The processed clothes are then channelized through grass root NGOs and provided either free or under the ‘clothes for work’ scheme. Listed in Forbes as one of the India’s most powerful entrepreneurs, Anshu’s organization GOONJ today is considered as one of the leading social enterprises in India, the largest non-

monetary resource agency; people also call it one of the largest civic participation movements. An inspiring leader, an initiator and above all a change maker is what Anshu Gupta is all known for. Goonj, his dream for many years, was set up in the year 1998. From collecting clothes from his own house, relatives and friends and distributing them on the roads in the chilly winter nights of Delhi, his dream has come a long way. Through shifting surplus urban resources to some of the poverty-stricken rural areas, he is making a difference in the lives of thousands who lack the basic resources needed for survival. Clothes do not involve heavy investments, but protect millions from extreme weather, shelter the homeless from the elements. His nationwide movement ‘Vastradaan’ is geared towards this end. Working with local grassroots organization operating in rural areas, Goonj has built a network of about 60 distribution partners with bases in West Bengal, Assam, Uttaranchal, Kashmir and Jharkhand. His uniqueness lies in thinking and putting in place an efficient, systematic distribution channel on a nationwide scale and the establishment of a nodal agency for generating vital resources for the rural poor. Thus, what started as an endeavor to clothe the needy some 10 years ago has clicked and grown into a nation-wide movement.

The making of an Entrepreneur……….
I referred to Oxford dictionary for the exact meaning of an ‘Entrepreneur’ and the answer said that it is any person who earns money by starting new businesses, which means that even my bhelwala bhaiya is an entrepreneur. Then I thought for Indian Entrepreneurs and the list was not very long. Most of the names were of those we read in one or the other magazine. Most of these were men who had inherited huge businesses and were taking then to new heights with their wisdom. After going through the biography of a few, what were found common were their dreams and their passion to persevere. But for these people, sources, resources came handy. Then what about debutants who start from scratch. A small search revealed that thousands of young would be entrepreneurs had to lick dust for lack of luck in getting the right resource at the right time. Yet, very few got to smooth landing after a hard and bumpy ride.

EKTA KAPOOR

My search crossed some female names; among them was one 36 yrs. old successful lady who is known for her uniqueness and individuality. She is from the entertainment business. She has reached the heart of every housewife who had never been entertained so... This living legend is ‘Ekta Kapoor’... Born to a famous cine star of yesteryears, this gorgeous young female chose to stay behind the camera, at the age of 20, when most youngsters fancies being seen on the screen. These were the days when television in India had fewer channels, and a few serials that were being aired were more realistic and close to masses. Ekta writes that she is passionate for the small screen, and since she loved telling stories, she chose to produce serials to fulfill her dreams. Wow!!! I mean not many think of making their own dream into a business. Quite impressive!!! Today after over a decade, Ekta is the most powerful girl in entertainment business. She is called “The Queen of soaps” and she calls the empire built a ‘byproduct of passion’. The pearls of wisdom although came from her parents whom she attributes all success. In an interview, a message she conveyed to masses particularly the parents was that, they should believe in their children and encourage them to persevere their passion. She says her parents’ mere belief in her, made her believe in herself. Self belief is what drives your inner power…

It?s better to own the racecourse than the race horse

She believes in traversing the bumpy path. Without that she says there is no fun in life. Hmm… Not many of us think that. We are most of the times happy to travel the same path that we are very much familiar with, I mean there are least chances of getting lost in the maze.. But not for Ekta. To experience the unknown she decided to produce films, and she fell head on. The result was disastrous. Her three productions licked the dust, but she had to have her day through her persevere and today she has a few hits in a row. This again is a lesson to learn for the Entrepreneurs of tomorrow... FALLING IS NOT A CRIME; CRIME IS NOT TO RISE AFTER EVERY FALL….

Why I chose Ekta as my Entrepreneur for this talk is for various following reasons: 1. Her dream to tell stories was more luring than the glamour. That proves that no dream ever is small. Its dream is in you, that itself is an evidence that you have the capability to fulfill it… NO NEVER RUN FROM YOUR DREAMS. 2. Her serials often were women oriented, with powerful females taking a lead. Now that’s what is women power…. Thanks to Ekta that we surely realize the potentiality and talent of today’s women. 3. Here her women folks wore such outfits which became so famous that a new industry evolved… Designer sarees, designer bindis, jewellery, parlours, experienced the boom never seen before. 4. She strongly believes in adapting to changes with time. That’s the biggest truth, NOTHING OTHER THAN CHANGE IS PERMANENT IN THIS WORLD…. The more time to you take to accept change, the farther becomes your dream of success……. Try and try…….

Nobody is ever small for anything…………

The secret of success is to know something nobody else knows

The Five Realities of AN Entrepreneur
REALITY # 1 An entrepreneur is an inventor, although few inventors are entrepreneurs. An inventor sees the world through alert, wide-open eyes. An inventor lives asking the question, “What’s missing in this picture?” To the entrepreneur the business he /she invent is a unique product that stands out in a world of ordinary business products and captures the imagination of the people. To the degree a business does not achieve that uniqueness, that originality, from the beginning, it is not an invention. REALITY # 2 Entrepreneurs do not buy business opportunities they create them? While business opportunities such as franchises are more likely to guarantee the success of the person who buys them, they are only successful to the degree the buyer suppresses his or her inclination to invent-suppresses his or her entrepreneurial passion. Therefore, entrepreneurs who buy business opportunities are doomed to disappointment, no matter how successful the business is. The passion of the entrepreneur is not to run a successful business-not to run a business someone else invented-but to invent a unique business that becomes successful. REALITY # 3 Invention is contagious. People love to experience an original business idea that has been successfully manifested in the world. So the entrepreneur’s passion comes not only from inventing a new business but also from basking in the delight of other people as they gladly experience his or her invention. For the entrepreneur, there is nothing more satisfying than when the audience applauds the performance.

The key to successful leadership today is influence, not authority.

REALITY # 4 To an entrepreneur, the success of the invention-the business-is measured by growth. The faster the business grows, the more successful is the invention. Entrepreneurs should never create a business simply because it can survive. To do so would be to commit one to daily dying. Entrepreneurs create businesses that thrive. To the entrepreneur, “There’s no business like show business! “It’s always, “Let’s get on with the show!” REALITY # 5 Everyone possess the ability to be an entrepreneur-to invent, to conceive of a great idea for a new business, and to create an original business based upon a simple but explosive idea. For some of us it may take little more than the awareness of what differentiates the entrepreneur from the manager and the technician to set off a flood of entrepreneurial excitement. In either case, however, it is necessary for each of us to know that learning to invent, to create, to conceive of an original business is both a process of discovery and the development of the patience necessary to sustain one’s interest while developing one’s skill.

suCCEss DOn’T nEED ExpERIEnCE
Starting a business is tough enough, and when you're young and inexperienced, the challenge of building credibility is an added pressure. But you shouldn’t let your age get in the way. "Being young and not having entrenched experience can actually be an advantage,” says Susan Gregg Koger, 26, who founded ModCloth, an online fashion retail company when she was 17. The company now has 240 employees and offices in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Pittsburgh. “Learning quickly and understanding what a Facebook user wants, what a Twitter user wants – there's something very valuable in being part of that demographic and user base," she says. Still, it’s important to take a strategic approach to grow your business when you don’t have the power of experience on your side. Here are five tips to help young entrepreneurs build the kind of credibility needed to make their business a success. 1. Focus. Focus. Focus. You've got a lot of ideas you're eager to try out. That's natural for many entrepreneurs in the early stages of business, but to build credibility, you need a very specific focus. "You never want to be good at 20 things," says Jared O'Toole, 25, founder of Under30CEO, a New York-based organization for young entrepreneurs. "There's always going to be someone who is better than you at each one of those things." Rather than strategizing about how to build the next billion-dollar company, focus on carving out a niche for yourself. "That focus builds your credibility," O'Toole says. 2. Build your business online. The online world is an obvious place to begin building a track record as a business owner, says Neil Patel, 26, co-founder of KISSmetrics a San Francisco-based web-analytics company. “A web presence is cheap and it's a great way to show people what you are made of," he says. "As a young entrepreneur that's really important because age is not on your side."

If you command wisely, you'll be obeyed cheerfully.

3. Make time for face-time. But Facebook, Twitter, and email will get you only so far. As part of a tech-obsessed generation, young entrepreneurs shouldn’t forget the value of face-to-face networking, says O'Toole. "You might have a good relationship with someone through email but they aren't going to offer that handshake that gets you to the next level with one of their buddies," he says. "You really have to make an effort to set up meetings, go to events and shake hands." 4. Deliver on your promises. Building strong relationships with clients in the early stages of your business is also important in establishing credibility. Those are the people who will vouch for your company, so go the extra mile for them. For Aaron Batalion, chief technology officer and cofounder of LivingSocial, a Washington, D.C.-based daily deal company, those early relationships with merchants and customers were important in building the company's name. Batalion was 27 when he and his three co-founders started Living Social in 2007. Today they have 2,500 employees and 40 million members around the world. "Once you… go above and beyond what you said you would do, people see that and share it with their colleagues,” he says. 5. Be yourself. You may be tempted to make yourself seem older or conceal your age, but it’s an unnecessary and possibly detrimental precaution to take, says Patel. Instead, be confident and transparent. "If you can show that you're mature and smart for your age, why not show it?" he says. Bottom line? Focus on what you're good at and age won't matter. "You build up credibility by being an expert in your field," Batalion says. "It's important to make sure the thing you're best at is what you're passionate about."

Why SMART Executives Fail???
August, 2011

’82-year-old' Motorola Mobile announced to be '16 years' of Google's acquisition.
Market share: 22% in 2006 - 9% in 2008 Motorola one of America’s proudest brand developed the world's first commercial mobile phone, the first GSM digital mobile phone, the first smart phone, the world's first wireless router. The pioneers in cellular phones since 1990s rocked the industry with their unique innovations like classic ultra thin models. Today the company that invented the cell phone — in the fastest growing market in all of technology — is getting clobbered. Things Moto wished and missed: 1. Motorola missed the movement to 3G: Sure, it did — but remember; it’s biggest customer the U.S. wireless carriers didn't think they wanted 3G. So Motorola listened to its customers, when they should have been listening to its customers' customers. 2. Motorola was a stodgy Midwest company in a fast paced Silicon Valley world: The Razr was an aberration — a wild success. It is hard to have a fashion business inside an industrial firm. Today Nokia is moving into graphics-rich cell phone games while innovation from Motorola is giving you RAZR-lite retreads in puke colors. 3. Motorola got out of the right business at the wrong time: Motorola at one time owned lots of spectrum. So it starts every year with zero sales while firms such as Qualcomm own intellectual property worth billions, and Verizon, AT&T and Sprint have millions of customers who pays them $500/year. Motorola turned down chance years ago to buy both Qualcomm and/or Nokia (for $20 million!). 4. Motorola stopped innovating: True. Do you carry a BlackBerry? A smart phone? Should Motorola have been a platform company, like Google is moving to? The Razr

The longer you?re not taking action the more money you?re losing

was the precursor to both the iPhone and the BlackBerry. By being late, it surrendered the high ground. 5. Motorola never had the sense of urgency: Everyone else moves at warp speed; Motorola jogged at its own pace, more like a monopolist than a paranoid competitor.

MYSTERY of FAILURE ? The causes of failure are not because executives are unintelligent; you don't have to know them personally rather just look at what they created over their careers and you need look no further ? The causes of failure are not due to unforeseeable events rather executives actually knew what was happening but chose not to do very much about it. ? The causes of failure are not executional errors rather executional errors are mere symptoms that hide a deeper explanation for why things go wrong.

The Missing MOTTO!!! One of the benefits of capitalism is that it kills off those that are slow to innovate, slow to execute. ‘But I feel somehow badly that the firm that invented cellular is now the walking wounded.’

MY COMFORT ZONE

I used to have a comfort zone where I knew I wouldn't fail. The same four walls and busywork were really more like jail. I longed so much to do the things I'd never done before, But stayed inside my comfort zone and paced the same old floor. I said it didn't matter that I wasn't doing much. I said I didn't care for things like commission checks and such. I claimed to be so busy with the things inside the zone, But deep inside I longed for something special of my own. I couldn't let my life go by just watching others win. I held my breath; I stepped outside and let the change begin. I took a step and with new strength I'd never felt before, I kissed my comfort zone goodbye and closed and locked the door. If you're in a comfort zone, afraid to venture out, Remember that all winners were at one time filled with doubt. A step or two and words of praise can make your dreams come true. Reach for your future with a smile; success is there for you!!!

Is Entrepreneurship for YOU???
Does this sound like you? Nobody has to tell me to get to work. I figure out what has to be done and do it before I'm asked. I like to be in control of whatever job I'm doing. I'm rarely satisfied with the way things are. I want to change them, make them better. I'm good with people. I enjoy creating teams of people to tackle a challenging task. I take NO for an answer. I am known to be very persistent because I know I can't accomplish much on the first try. I just keep on trying. If I'm told something is impossible to do, I often can't resist seeing if it's true. I don't mind failing if I learn something in the process. Whatever job I have, I need to feel that I'm accomplishing something, not just putting in time. More than anything else, I love to earn money. It gives me freedom and power. When I'm working for someone else, I'm always thinking of how I'd change things if it were my business. I'm willing to accept responsibility and take the heat if my decisions are wrong, but I want the credit (or rewards) when I make decisions that produce the right results. When I'm doing work I really like, I don't mind working hard for long hours. In fact, it doesn't even seem like work. I have dreams I want to pursue, and I won't be satisfied until I find out whether or not I can achieve them.
That is definitely not me. (0) Sometimes that's me. (1) That's me most of the time. (2) Wow! That's me exactly! (4)

A Love Poem for Entrepreneurs
Tease me. Lure me. Consume me. Driven breathless into your arms. Why can’t I stop thinking of you. To awaken at night and feel you wrapped around me. Warm breath pouring across me. Tingling. Aroused. Please. I beg of you. I love you. But let me sleep. And yet, at daybreak. You linger. What joy. Oy. Everlasting. Irresistible. Maniacal. In your grip. I cannot stop thinking about you. My head fills. Spinning. Whirling. Relentless. Heart rapt. Singing. Breaking. Opening. Closing. Shattering. Exalting. Always back for more. Sorrow. Bliss. We dance. We play. Why do I keep returning? What demon spirit possesses me? That I allow my soul to be so possessed by you. So much you’ve given. So much you’ve taken. Yet still. I yearn. And return. To call you once more by your name. Entrepreneurship. We are, I pray. I fear. Bound for life. What joy.Oy. Sruthi Sriram- FYBMS
