Does movies influence criminal activities

Major proportion of rural people especially youth try to imitate in real life what their favourite actor does on screen. Do you believe these movies result increasing criminal activities?
 
Movies to an extent influence criminal activities.But it doesn't mean movies are totally responsible for criminal activities.Doing criminal activities is at last an individual choice.No individual is born criminal.An individual becomes criminal due to various factors like financial condition,habit,peer pressure etc.
 
I think yes television and movie influence our mind and the way we are thinking. It can also increases the crimes in the society. There are many cases happened in the past days which are influenced by the movie.
 
Yes it deeply influences the areas where movies are the only way of getting updated which was earlier used by people who wants to follow new fashion and trend or knowing what is happening in outside world.

eg:-If the hero is getting laid with different women's leaving them pregnant in India where abortion is illegal bringing the unwanted child so in-return bringing unwanted crimes for the sake of the child's survival be it the playboy father or mistreated female.
 
some what of extent yes movies are influencing criminal activities, some what happens movies stories are writing with very create mind ( Robbery stories, killer Stories etc) so its becoming the advertisement ads to criminal, so criminal just implementing the ideas in the society.
 
i think it depends.. actually movies are very much apart from our life..there all people are acting in there own way to entertain someone other. but in real life we r also acting but mind it it should not be harmfull.so decision is yours.what do u want? construction or destruction??
