Does honesty really matters in a corporate world ?

Yes Honesty is the best Policy, so goes the saying. At least you will have the satisfaction of being honest, even if you are not benfitied by being an honest person. Wether it is coorporate world or any were else honesty is a relative term and to what extent people are honest depends upon the environment you are working and living.

In an environment filled with all dishonest people if you alone is honest then would it be possible for you to get any benefit or achieve anything by being honest is the question. When it comes to work you will give out your best, company makes profits out of it you are not rewarded. When your friends find you are honest and believe life is a learning platform and work like a donkey and they will take advantage of you and dump all the work and they will en-cash on your work just by praising you and you get the satisfaction of being honest and feel happy for getting an opportunity to learn.

Yes of course a day will come you get rewarded for you are honest and learnt a lot by being honest. How many people got rewarded or got benefited by being honest in their life.

yes my friend, i agree honesty is the best policy in the world. if we do more work we become master in it. so not to worry about rewards, be happy :-)

well i don't think there is any relation of honesty in a corporate world as every 1 wants to make their work done by any means and by any means won't come up with honesty my dear
 
honesty still remains one of the most important virtues in corporate world unfortunately its value has been lost somewhere. I believe honesty in you will surely pay you in the long run....a firm always wants employees who are honest and gellef to the firm.
 
deffineatly the honesty is the best policy.... & this is one of the thing which is making diffrence between government secor & corporate sector , i think as compared to govt. sect. there is less chances for curruption & because of strictness the people has workhard...so, for getting/ providing best output they has to be honest......
the best example is the BEST v/s. RELIANCE Energy...
in RELIANCE Energy...where employeees are honest for there work than the BEST.... because the RELIANCE IS PRIVATE CORPORATE SECTOR AND BEST IS GOVT. WHERE MORE CHANCES FOR CURRUPTION WHICH LEADS TO BECOME LAIZY & INACTIVE IN THE MATTER OF THERE DUTIES& RESPONSIBIBILITIES....
 
Yes, Honesty is the best quality of human being. In the life it helps us on every stage. Also in corporate world honesty play's mejor role to develope corporate growth, employer and employee growth.

My open view is that if you dont have the characteristic of Honesty.... you are not liable to play any role in corporate world.... So be honest and cheers the life...

no body can stop one to excel ,in corporate world all one requires is to be honest and dedicated
 
To say lie u need to answer many questions.To say truth You need to answer only one questions. So be honest in corporate world to buzz off many questions.
 
I don't think it really pays.... Will you be honest enuf to accept tat you have copied some content of your 500 page document from some site.... I don't think so....

It looks good in the books and moral stories....In the corporate world...who cares...
 
Sure! Honesty Pays. I have no doubt about it.The only question is to what degree one should be honest! But how many individuals or how many corporates are practicing honesty is a question of relative merit.

I think successful individuals and corporates follow Honesty to the a discernible level. This may be a different level from case to case. The solid foundation for honesty is or has been the "point of breaking". The "Point of Breaking" is a point where honest is no longer found to be viable and is likely to cause damage to the fundamental existence of the individual or entity. The loss may be physical, psychological or financial or such other things depending upon the issue with reference to which honesty is being considered.

The fundamental principle of life is self protection. That should be basis to evolve a level of bearable honesty for each and every one.

truth alone triumphs. Keep on doing your duty in an effective and efficient manner. Does not bother about barking dog. Things will ripe and fall at your feet. Keep patience and Perseverance. Yow will grow and expand.
 
From my experience, dishonesty can only get one so far because often dishonesty is required to cover one's inefficiencies.. i'd say honesty yields delayed but legitimate and untarnished gratification

No..... it has no place in corporate world. If fact , the people who are honest are the big looser in day end. But it don't mean that you become dishonest . NO no way....
The best word is TECTFULL. There is always a way to get the things done. the only thing you should be careful about is that , u should know how to be tectfull with your boss, subordinates and others.
