I wanted to know if v needed to join any classes for taking up gmat

Hi Pallavi, It depends on U...if U think U can manage it by Urself....den U dont need it....try 2 go thru OG11TH edition nd see where U stand after taking the diagnostic test nd dependin on it U can have an idea whether U would like to take coachin or U can prepare by Urself...

I think coaching is important albeit 90% of the effort has still to be put in by aspirant only.
For those working, there are protracted weekend classes.

It is better to join classes because then one can know ones level among others and more importantly ones knows about the realms of the material that one should go thru.

Come to Pune, Join Dilip Oks. In Mumbai go for Time GMAT. But that or any other coaching institute is no way near to Dilip Oks

What I personally feel is if you have coaching,it will improve your self-confidence and analytical ability.Moreover there is a very good chance that you can meet like minded peoples in the center so you can discuss/study together

Personalized coaching is a good idea if you have no idea as to where you should start. The GMAT prep-book is sufficient for most parts.
