Definitely Bollywood do have an influence on people mind, especially the young ones and therefore, a contributing factor for the crime. It's an old saying that "whatever we see, it is captured somewhere in our mind" and it's not rare that we often try to implement that if we get a chance or such circumstances come.

But it may not matter to those which can differentiate between reel and real, but it certainly have an impact on their mind too.
