Do you think MBA graduates deserve such high salary packages ?

IM Kolkata MBA graduate get a whopping 1.4 cr package and other IIM placements across the country also gets salary package in the range of 80 lakhs or more than that.

I mean why are these guys getting such high salary packages, what is that they do that other normal non MBA guys don't...there are many people at senior positions who are not having MBA degrees for that matter, why only MBA guys get a fat pay package and not others...

It is a matter of fact now that only mba's can get fat packages and no other else can do so particularly the IIM guys the aura and audacity that they command no other can??:SugarwareZ-224:
 
Administration and management are not that easy and these are very critical than surgery.
See how many firms getting bankrupted these days, its because of their poor management. It not only affect just the CEO but nearly around 50000 people who work there.

So a high salary is wise.
 
This is all depend upon the demand of time. Now students from IIT are also getting good package in India and abroad also. There are major companies like Microsoft, Google hiring the Indian students and offering high packages. MBA is good but there are also other professional courses where students can make their career secure and get high salary.
