Yes. . . India should definitely take serious care about global warming. India has been a responsible nation always. In any terms we think, let it be War on Terror, War with Pakistan or other International Diplomacies. And Global Warming is something which will affect whole Earth, Whole Living Race, not any country or region particularly. moreover after making huge pledges in Copenhagen to reduce Carbon emissions and all, there is no way that India should not b Serious about Global Warming. We have to and we will surely contribute our individual best to make India the most responsible country here also . . .Good Luck All!
Yes , India should take the issue of Global Worming seriously. but the points that must be taken into considerations are:
1. According to a recent report, the world has all the trees it needs.
2. Its the polution that we need to crub.
But, as our representatives at the COP15 said, the developed countries have done their part in the destruction of the planet, we, the developing ones are the one who are being stopped at the threshold of entering the manufacturing industry calling in on the name of pollution.
3. but yes, the planet should be taken care of, thereby developed countries, specifically USA should stop polluting the world.

Yes!!! It is mandatory for India to take the necessary steps in order to control Global warming. If you have a gutter in your vicinity and you do not care about taking the necessary measures to reduce the diseases and other microbes coming out of it. You expect your neighbor to do this because of the simple reason, it impacts him also. The time will come when you and your family will be impacted and encircled by thousands of diseases. You will regret of not taking the preventive steps but will not have any way other than regretting. It is better to do it right today than regretting tomorrow. !!!!

Global warming is a global warning !!!
Global warming is mainly caused because of emission of GHGs like co2 in the atmosphere.
Most importantly, as per Copenhagen deal, India is d least emitter of co2 and thus contributes very less to global warming.
Thus responsibilities rest upon more on developed nations rather than developing nations.
India being a developing nation and its per capita energy consumption is very low with half of the households still not blessed with electricity.
So for india to shift onto renewable energy sources from conventional energy sources like coal, it will require huge investment to develop new technologies.
I believe matured nations should be the first ones to take serious concern about global warming followed by developing nations like India.
India has already declared 15% cut in co2 emission to be accomplished by 2020. Bigger initiatives need to be taken up by matured nations and support growing economies.
