Do we drive the Technology or Technology drives us?

Man invented computers,languages,gadgets and ofcourse the internet.So logically humans have to drive the technology.But internet glued all the gadgets and accomodated new ones like I-pods,video websites like Youtube,blogs.Now I'm seriously confused if humans are driving the Technology or Tech is driving the humans?Movies like AI,Transformers,Minority report confirm my confusion.

Letz talk abt this folks.Wats ur say?

technology drives u thats for sure... If not in this age of IT we see tht ppl hav bcom so tech savvy tht it is hard 2 imaginge life w/o tech
 
Hi,
I think first man invented technology and later technology drives man.
Its like father grows up the child and later by the time, child takes care of father i.e. he/she drives life of parents.
 
i will say its true both ways.
we drive technology and technology drives us..
its would be injustice to say that one drives another
 
for sure we r driven by technology. cos of application .. upgradation to meet the
demands in a faster and time saving way .consider this case - 10 years before u were listening songs in casettes but now do u .. a cassette cost 20 rs earlier and u can hear 12 songs but now with an mp3 cd u can hear 1000 songs for just 15 rs .. now tell me whether we drive the technology or the technology drive us
although man creates technology .. we become a slave to it or its a like a drug wothout we cant survive... slave exceeding his master..
 
TECHNOLOGY IS DRIVEN BY IN D START WEN ITS CREATED BY US BUT LATER WE R DRIVEN BY TECHNOLOGY AS WE R GETTING ADDICTED TO IT DAY BY DAY...........
 
Originally Technology was to find solutions to problems.
Now Technology has to find problems for the new solutions it keeps churning out.
In the environment of the Cold War The Atomic Bomb was a solution but the problem was not existing.
ERP is the solution chosed by managements but the same managements have no cue about the problems.
As a great thinker said - sorry I cannot recall who - " The important thing is to ask the right question".
Ultimately, lke the human body does with food the human race will will do with tehnology.

its a vis a vas, concept, u invent some thing for the comfort of individuals n if it works, its a gud life living... teachnology has made life easier & more enjoyable , but lets not forget , its the humans who are inventing these things, so its a vis a vas situation...
