Do most boys in their teens have no goals??

Hi,

this is a very sensitive matter. I have seen around me that most boys in their Late teens or early twenties lack goals in their lives. This is the age where they should be studying harder to enhace a brighter future but instead i see them more engaged in fancy clothes, cell phones, watches, blue movies, girls, motorbikes, cars, pubs, cigarattes etc!!

Is this the right thing to do at such age?? Despite coming from Midlle Class famalies they blow off money very heavily and easily.

This may not b for everyone but most of us. Do you think such Brats are goaless in life and struggle in their carrers in future??

Regards

i agreee to sme extent but in thm also ther r alwaz exceptions who inspite of comin frm middle class thy study in street lite n come 1st n 2nd wch is very appreciable
but many i feel most of thwewm i shud say do hav a goal or havnt decided wat thy wana aim for but i dont blame thm comlpetely oz many of thm feel either thy can join in some company with their influence or probably y thy need to study if thy hav to end up joining daddys business so.............it depends on wat type of a teen he is n then only we can say whether thy r aimless or aimfull...........

hmmm.. to some extent even i agree that boys in teens have no goals, they take life a little too lightly, but as they r abt to finish their studies, they become responsible.. and plan out their life..

may be yes may be not ... and i agree there are exception. the boys who do this mainly r from upper class and thinks that they will do their family business and so r not as serious as they shud be.

but now due to extreme competition there is increased pressure in minds of every student to go for Higher education. so now youth are getting awakened (not only boys but now girls too).

Thnx guys! as i earlier said that not all but in general. To a good extent i agree with Chirag but from wht i have seen outside colleges, boys are only serious during SSC or HSC or any imp exam. Other than that they take everything very easily.

Again i repeat, NOT ALL but in GENERAL

Good Topic Neel Jani...

According to me, It differs from person to person. And if ur being gender bias , Girls and Boys as Teenagers both should be equally taken into consideration in such a topic, For those who get everything the easy way , tend to be like what you have described - easygoing in life. The live on their parents money and waste it, At the same time we should also understand that these years are the teenage years which you will not have again in your life and when your 70+ and your walking stick , you will think of the moments when you where in your teenage years when you did all the crazy stuff , if we all be innocent , or quiet or miserable or just a teenager that dosent socialise im sure that person will regret it in the future,
A teenager can change from the mistakes or he is given 2nd chances to be some1 in life , but an adult does not get that...

The main thing is that sooner or later everyone changes , the maturity level increases and you should give in time to understand this, especially with boys, and its good coz you experience the bad and good things about life,
If you disagree , i can share my own personal example in the next post if you insist.

Hey Friend,
This is an internet era and ppl started to move faster than they used to.Teens today know the options before them. Some students plan their career after completing their Class X and they work hard towards that. Some ppl join a BPO after their college (or in parallel) and earn and enjoy their life. After a couple of years they will do masters and take-off their career. It depends on a the individual.A guy/girl one who was a chain smoker wouldn't have touched the cigarettes for years together. You can't decide about it on seeing them.I'm nt outrightly denying your say.Ofcourse there are ppl who gets spoiled due to the company they keep.During my college days we used to go to the hostel after college and hostel food was our only source of feed. But today, teens don't care about those cos they can earn while studying.Well to conclude world is changing a lot.Everyone has to be careful with the company they keep. It's the responsibility of the individual to do what they want to do and to decide where they want to go.
