Do BMS and BBA guys get preference in IIM admissions?

I hear that if you have a background of bachelors in management, you get a preferential treatment for your IIM entrance tests.

Is this true? Any statistics to prove this?
 
Can't find any statistics but it is only natural that a BBA / BMS guy gets preference over others. The b-schools generally try to get people of a diverse background and the fact is engineers find it easier to crack the CAT. In light of that, a BBA / BMS grad who gets a good percentile should get preference over others in GD and PI.
