Degree speaks OR Skill speaks?

It is the skill that speaks. Though Degree is a golden ticket but it has very little to do with the practical world. The things that people get job have more to do with attitude, first impression and experience rather than a diploma or a degree.
 
Degree speaks a lot then skill.......
Example:- The Student who get selected directly from the clge campus get better paid, as they don't know any practical knowledge of the market, but the people who can handle the better project and have complete knowledge of the market, they equally half the salary paid compare to those who has the degree,
even the top company see your degree first then experience...
 
For me its a mixture of both.......

I may have the best skills in the world but if i dont possess the basic qualification that are requires for the job....... in such a case i may not even get the opportunity to show the skills.......

And when i see the other way round.... if a dont have the skills but i have the degree i may get the job but.... at the same time it will not be able to survive longer.... with the job........

Hence according to me both supplement each other...........
 
I think degree is like entry ticket to show case your skills. Without degree it is very difficult to get get entry to prove your skills.
 
I too agree with Alisha, skills dont count untill and unless it is backed with sum degree as a proof. This is the main reason why businessmen wards do MBA for getting a degree for the sake of name only otherwise they can very well improve their skills from home
 
its both because if u have degree and dont know how to express the stuff that you have, there is no use. If u have skills and dont have a degree then u can bluff for some time but it doesnt stay longer
 
I believe having skills is important than degree. If u have the skills ,it wouldn't be really important for you to have a degree in that field.
 
As we all know that skill is more essential than degree but i believe both degree and skills are like two faces of a coin. If you are not having degree then nobody will trust on your capability of your work and skills in this competitive world.
 
In my point of view without degree their is no presnce of skill, so degree is a entrance exam and skill is pass of examination.
