The Baharat Diamond Bourse, which was established in 1984, is a member of the World Federation of Diamond Bourses (WFDB).

A new complex is currently being constructed for the diamond exchange - the Bandra-Kurla Complex.

According to Baharat Diamond Exchange President, Anoop Mehta, 90% of diamond trading in India will take place at the new complex.
