The previous head of Pakistan's ISI is controlling Imran Khan's walk on Islamabad to topple Nawaz Sharif's legislature, a senior minister has claimed.
The affirmation that Lt-General Ahmed Shuja Pasha is serving as "vital guide" for the exhibits reflects developing strain in the capital as Mr Khan's arranged walk from Lahore to Islamabad on Thursday draws closer. Troopers have been sent outside the National Assembly, the president's home and other touchy locales to stop the marchers entering the capital's focal 'red zone'.
The previous Pakistan cricket skipper and resistance Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf administrator is required to lead an expected 60,000 supporters on the walk, which is relied upon to be joined by a further 50,000 supporters of the prominent Muslim minister Tahirul Qadri who has called for an "upheaval" to expel Nawaz Sharif's administration.
