Loss of a beloved Pet
They leave the hair on the sofa, the footprints on the carpet, chew-toys in the yard, and when they pass, a void in our hearts. Since time immemorial, animals have always been more to us than as their role as defenders of the courtyard and the mobile mouse-repellants. They are an intrinsic part of our daily life with friends and family, and their contribution deserves to be revered.
If it is true that the mummified remains of ancient peoples’ pets will be sent along with the deceased loved ones, especially cats, dogs, or often even the baboons then there is no reason to not believe that we won’t meet our feline or canine friends in the netherworlds. Even in ancient
Rome and Greece, a few beloved companion creatures were honored with graves and tombstones engraved with the family crest.
There are many ways to keep these close friends in proximity to your heart and commemorate your pet at home. Your dog will go everywhere with you? Then you’re lucky mine doesn’t and the one before that was even more arrogant.(Bit me a few times). If you need to keep this simple connection, then you might want to consider a collar with engraved stones and stopgaps lined with silver. Often they can be your pets’ cremains along with a small handwritten note or letter , maybe even a poem.
It is not uncommon for our pets to choose a favorite in the house or yard, somewhere, you know, you can always find, dozing or custody. Garden urns and pottery urns and stone can protect these sites in place, providing a place to rest your eyes when the need to cuddle a beloved pet gets the better of you. These memorabilia can be a pole or a ball of yarn, a discus ; drawing a smile along with tears and act as conversation starters, make sure the animal will never be forgotten.
Whatever you plan to do , make it so that it manifests itself to mould into the character of your pet , so that you may reminisce some time later and remember every minutiae clearly.
