Okay, so I've been wandering around the forum and something has stuck out a lot. I can't see why everyone is okay with young children just learning "Reading, Writing, and Arithmatic"... I don't see why we don't teach children how to think critically. Why not throw in some logic and philosophy courses into the curriculum so they can make sound decisions early and have interesting debates and whatnot. Logic is key when learning so I don't see why we don't teach them that kind of stuff earlier than we do (if we do at all).
Clarifacation: When I say children, I do not mean grade school. I'm thinking in the ranges of high school and middle school.
