The Speed breakers and Manholes[/b]
[/b]
If you are in an Organization; there might have been many times when you experienced Information-Blackouts. Or your Intended Target experienced it. It is part and parcel of communication.
These Blackouts may be of two types:
1. [/b]When there is no power input from the Grid :[/b]
[/b]
This case relates to the situation when the listener didn’t get your message accurately due to some Noise/disturbance –both self created and external. In this case he switches off and so does the people under him who are connected in series.
[/b]
2. [/b]When There is Voltage fluctuation :[/b]
[/b]
How many times have we seen this at our homes ; that the bulbs flicker routinely for a while , the fan spins errantly , the Voltage regulator on the Refrigerator starts playing its sweet melody – which everyone loves from the bottom of their hearts.
In our case it relates to the breakdown of communication due to emotions like Anger, resentment, insecurity, confusion etc. The reasons may be numerous and they can occur simultaneously too. If a mere Copper wire carrying AC – invented in the age of Industrial Revolution can affect us so much; imagine the magnitudes to which the nuances of our body, which has evolved over 6000 yrs can swing our productivity from one extreme to the other.
The Solution –Have good shockers installed[/b]
[/b]
- Speak loud enough to be heard clearly without stressing the auditory senses. [/b]
- Be as direct as possible; going in circles will erode your soles.[/b]
- Screen your words like you screen out the tea leaves after making tea before pouring it in. All babble should be left out , only the flavour should come out.[/b]
- Reaffirming again with the listener, if he indeed got what you wanted to convey. (I have a post on this point, please do see.)[/b]
